Job Description
Key Responsibilities of the role include:
Assist the front-end team during Tender with risk reviews, design gap analysis and design completion strategy.
Work closely on technical and commercial reviews with the in-house services and estimating teams.
Establish relationships with the project consultant team, develop scopes and manage engagement of the team (Novated and direct appointment)
Manage design consultants and coordinate the design completion process to align with project programme and commercial objectives.
Proactively initiate and manage the Safety in Design process.
To Succeed in the role, you will have:
Ability to effectively chair and manage design team meetings, consultant, and sub-contractor workshops.
Proven track record in Commercial Workplace Fit-out and / or Hospitality sector with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to build a proactive and collaborative relationship with the client stakeholders, design consultants, in-house services, estimating and project delivery teams.
Excellent task orientated deadline management.
Ability to work on multiple projects at various procurement and construction stages concurrently.
Desired Skills and Experience
Ideal Candidate will possess the following:
Relevant qualifications in Architecture, Design, or a related discipline.
Experience leading client and consultant teams through all stages of projects from Concept to Completion.
Detailed knowledge of the NCC, relevant Australian Standards and authority approval pathways. (DA, CC, CDC, and OC’s)
Strong local market knowledge of design consultants and relevant supply chain.
