Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate a variety of woodworking machines and use various hand tools to fabricate and repair wooden cabinets and high-grade furniture.
Study blueprints or drawings to plan the sequence of cutting or shaping operations.
Mark outlines or dimensions of parts on paper or timber according to specifications.
Trim components for joints to ensure a snug fit using hand tools such as planes, chisels, or wood files.
Bore holes for screws or dowels manually or with a boring machine.
Glue, fit, and clamp parts and subassemblies together using clamps or a clamping machine to form complete units.
Education & Experience:
Trade qualification in wood Carpentry, shopfitting, or cabinet making.
Proven experience delivering successful projects from start to finish with minimal supervision
