Job Description
Buildcorp is seeking a Quality Manager to play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across our projects and corporate operations. Based out of our head office in Camperdown and reporting to the Head Of Quality.
Lead the development and implementation of quality management processes, ensuring projects meet and exceed quality standards.
Identify, monitor, and manage quality objectives, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Guide project teams and stakeholders in cultivating a quality-focused culture that drives business outcomes.
Conduct audits, root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions to address quality and design issues.
Deliver training and mentorship to teams on quality systems, tools, and best practices.
Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure strong project and design outcomes.
About You
Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction or engineering roles, experience in a quality compliance-focused position.
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and experience in auditing management systems.
Ability to influence stakeholders and build trusted, lasting partnerships.
Proven track record in implementing quality management systems and driving continuous improvement.
Trade or tertiary qualification in a relevant Building and Construction discipline.
Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Adaptable, resilient, and committed to delivering high-quality results.
Excellent communication and engagement skills to inspire teams and stakeholders.
