Job Description
Buildcorp’s Fit-Out and refurbishment team deliver complex, high-quality projects that demand innovation, collaboration, and precision. We are seeking a Senior Estimator to join our team who can bring accuracy, commercial insight and technical capability to some of the most challenging and rewarding projects.
You’ll work closely with a strong network of subcontractors, consultants and internal stakeholders and be supported by an industry leading team of remedial and façade industry professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Complete initial tender assessments, evaluating all project aspects, risks and opportunities.
Produce accurate trade break-ups and secure strong market coverage through your subcontractor relationships.
Conduct regular meetings with key subcontractors to obtain competitive, accurate pricing.
Prepare detailed cost plans for internal review.
Lead the preparation of handover packages and budgets for successful tenders.
Collaborate with internal bid teams on program, budget inputs, value engineering and alternate solutions.
Support and coach estimators, contributing to team capability and performance.
Desired Skills and Experience
About you
Demonstrated experience in estimating or cost planning with proven success.
Strong network of subcontractors and suppliers in relevant trades.
Ability to evaluate risk and opportunity in pricing assessments.
Proficiency in estimating software such as Buildsoft or CostX.
Strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management and decision-making skills.
A relevant qualification in construction management, engineering, quantity surveying or similar.
