We’re looking for an experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of complexed remedial and façade construction projects from early contractor involvement through to completion and post-delivery review. This is a senior leadership role for someone who thrives on accountability, collaboration, and delivering outstanding results for clients.
As Project Director, you’ll take end-to-end ownership of project strategy, people, and performance, achieving successful outcomes across key commercial, safety, and delivery KPIs. You’ll work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to influence decisions early, manage risk, and unlock value throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
• Manage and mentor our teams, delivering projects through design, procurement, construction, and post-delivery reviews
• Build strong, trusted relationships with clients, consultants, and supply partners
• Identify and manage risk, escalating critical issues and implementing mitigation strategies
• Provide visible leadership on site and across project teams
• Ensure our teams have transparent monthly project reports and cost forecasts, on time and accurate
• Ensure systems compliance across our project delivery teams
• Mentor and support Project Managers, sharing knowledge and building capability
• Champion value engineering, buildability, and value-for-money initiatives
• Collaborate across the business to support strategic and continuous improvement initiatives
About you
• Proven experience delivering complex construction projects
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of construction methodology and procurement
• Ability to influence, negotiate, and engage confidently at all levels
• Strong conflict resolution skills and experience
• A leadership style that builds trust, accountability, and high performance
• Experience developing, coaching, and retaining high-performing teams
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the resilience to navigate complexity
• Demonstrated success in senior project leadership roles within the construction industry
