The Opportunity
Due to multiple new project wins and growth in the team, we are seeking a Project Supervisor to play a key role in the successful construction and day to day management of key fit out and refurbishment projects throughout Sydney, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to our strict quality standards.
Job Description
The Opportunity:
As a Project Supervisor you will be responsible for the daily delivery of safe, high quality and on-time construction projects for Buildcorp.
The successful applicant will take the lead in the following areas:
Day-to-day management of onsite safety, including monitoring of site safety, completion of safety administration and a proactive approach to safety practices and rectification when required
Conduct on-site HS&E and Quality inductions with all subcontractors and on-site labour prior to their commencement of work.
Formulate the site programme and issue to relevant parties (including project manager, subcontractors). Manage the day-to-day site activity to the site programme
Managing site budget and materials - Run the on-site budget and business processes relating to labour, overtime, small tools, hire equipment.
Managing subcontractors and site labour / labour hire - Manage the day-to-day activity of subcontractors and site labour to the project plan, project drawings and specifications.

Desired Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role, you will have:
Trade qualification or a building related qualification in addition to experience in site supervision (including planning, programming and the management of subcontractors and site labour
5 years+ experience in the site supervision of construction projects, including planning, programming and the management of subcontractors and site labour
Understanding of project programming (particularly in relation to delivery to the program)
Understanding of tasks and activities of a wide variety of building trades
Management of providers within agreed contracts
