We are seeking both a highly capable Services Engineer to support our growing portfolio of fit out and refurbishment projects, as well as a Services Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities (Services Engineer)

• Support the tender process for services packages and procurement of consultants and subcontractors through assessing scopes and design.
• Work with consultants and subcontractors to document the solutions and support construction compliance with the overall design.
• Deliver activities related to interface requirements between services and building components including design coordination, approval, installation, commissioning, and completion requirements.
• Suggest innovative design options, value engineering solutions and value for money initiatives for critical services packages with added focus during the procurement phase.
• Ensure that design completion meets project milestones and technical issues that impact buildability, procurement, resources, safety, or cost are identified early to reduce risk throughout the project.
• Coordinate the services management plan, ensuring that it aligns with the overall project plan and assist with detailed planning of risk assessments, shut down scheduling, decommissioning existing services or cut overs and make safe to enable the commencement of demolition works.
• Liaise with relevant authorities to ensure timely connection of all building services including water, power, telecoms, and connections to sewerage and stormwater.
• Reviewing installation plans, drawings, and product specifications to ensure that they meet the contracted requirements and propose alternative design and installation methods at design development stage.
• Lead the services subcontractor coordination meetings and manage the approvals process for all documentation, samples, and testing processes.
• Contribute to the project planning, sequencing and coordination activities related to services and understand and reduce the impact on other work areas or subcontractors.

For the Services Coordinator position, we're seeking sound commercial construction experience, either from a Contracts Administrator background, or similar, ideally with exposure to Services, as this role can provide a direct pathway to becoming a dedicated Services Engineer. The Services Coordinator role will support services procurement, documentation, and other administrative components of the services function.
