To succeed in this role, you will have the below skills:
- Proficiency in SQL AND another data manipulation programming language (e.g. Python, R)
- Demonstrated ability to tell stories with data and use visualisation tools (e.g. Domo, Power BI, Tableau, R-Shiny etc.)
- Capable of applying a variety of statistical concepts (e.g. regressions, A/B tests, clustering, probability) to business problems and applying the most appropriate approach, adapting as requirements change.
- Capable of communicating data analysis into well-written content and identifying trends
- Ability to advise and partner with business leaders to communicate insights, influence strategy, and drive data-informed decision making.
Ideal candidate will possess the below:
- Completed a certificate or degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science or similar
- Demonstrated experience in data science or related fields
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, iOS devices/apps and custom-built applications is highly regarded.
- Experience using Domo - Data and AI platform, is a bonus
- Experience with large language model (LLMs), including prompt engineering, fine-tuning, responsible AI practices, and implementation and optimisation
